Countermeasures Against DDoS Attacks NISC

Japan’s National Center of Incident Readiness and Strategy for Cybersecurity (NISC) took a significant step to bolster global cybersecurity defenses against Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks, particularly those targeting edge devices. This joint advisory, endorsed by countries including Australia, Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, New Zealand, South Korea, the Netherlands, and the Czech Republic, outlines seven strategic measures to mitigate risks associated with the increasing number of cyberattacks on edge devices.
