It is believed that the corporation became a target for a cyber-attack on October 25, 2021, and therefore in response, they launched an investigation which confirmed that threat actors had gained access to personal information belonging to employees of Meyer and its subsidiaries.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;On or around December 1, 2021, our investigation identified potential unauthorized access to Meyer employee information [including employees of Meyer&#8217;s subsidiaries Hestan Commercial Corporation, Hestan Smart Cooking, Hestan Vineyards, and Blue Mountain Enterprises, LLC],\u201d &#8211; Meyer Corporation data breach notification.<\/p><p><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); letter-spacing: 0px;\">It is believed that the personal information that may have been exposed included<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Full names<\/li>\n<li>Physical address<\/li>\n<li>Date of birth<\/li>\n<li>Gender<\/li>\n<li>Ethnicity<\/li>\n<li>Social Security number<\/li>\n<li>Health insurance information<\/li>\n<li>Medical condition<\/li>\n<li>Random drug screening results<\/li>\n<li>COVID vaccination cards<\/li>\n<li>Driver\u2019s license<\/li>\n<li>Passports<\/li>\n<li>Government ID number<\/li>\n<li>Permanent resident cards<\/li>\n<li>Immigration status information<\/li>\n<li>Information on dependents<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The group behind the incident is believed to be Conti Ransomware group who released a listing on their extortion site dating to November 7, 2021. Conti currently offers a ZIP file containing 2% of the allegedly stolen data.
